Dance

In this activity, students will design a dance party using programming. They will create different dancers. Then, students will change their dance moves and make them interactive. The primary learning goal is to understand how to develop programs that respond to timed events and user input and to create the dance animation with code. First, teachers will announce students to do a creative dance move of their own for 10 seconds to get them in the mood, and teachers will capture the class's moves on video. Then, students will go through the tutorial to design a dance party using programming. Students are encouraged to check in with a neighbor when they get stuck.
